Compass Building and Construction Services Ltd was formed in March 2009 and has, during its formative period, built up a wide ranging portfolio of clients, projects and expertise across all types of construction ranging from minor maintenance and insurance works to major new build construction projects.
Sitting amidst this range is a niche, tailored service, that we have developed to cater for one off specialist builds, bespoke designs and partnership arrangements. This draws upon the presence generated by our main contracting wing but is blended with our own trades delivery from our Specialist Works Division creating what we believe is a very trustworthy, predictable and personal service for those seeking to appoint a team of skilled and professional workers focussed on quality delivery.
Compass Building and Construction Services Ltd is based in Inverness and whilst the majority of its work is predominately located within Northern Scotland, we are prepared and equipped to travel to most locations in order to service customer needs. Compass Building and Construction Services Ltd successfully operate with an integrated supply chain and pride ourselves on our reputation for representing fairly the best interests of its key stakeholders namely:- clients, employees and supply chain members, all of whom are key to the ongoing success of our business and without whom the business would not exist.
In September 2019 Compass Building and Construction Services Ltd established a subsidiary services company, Orbis Services Ltd, to deliver our plumbing, heating, mechanical, electrical and renewable requirements. With the nationwide move to renewable technologies and whole building/fabric insulation and energy consumption considerations it was felt that the addition of a services company would underpin our own delivery and expertise, enhance quality via control and therefore improve the experience of our clients through a multi-trade offering.
