Compass Building and Construction Services Ltd was formed in March 2009 and has, during its formative period, built up a wide ranging portfolio of clients, projects and expertise across all types of construction ranging from minor maintenance and insurance works to major new build construction projects.

What We Do

Compass Building and Construction Services Ltd have, since its conception in 2009, steadily grown the organisation through the acquisition of key members of staff on a co-ordinated basis, keeping pace with the planned and structured growth of the business.

During this time we have consciously shaped the business into 2 distinct entities which have largely been informed by market conditions and in response to client needs.

Specialist Works

Complementing our building operation is the Specialist Works Department. The remit of specialist works extends from minor works and maintenance to “one off” bespoke works for the public and private sector alike, with key areas of focus being in the following disciplines:-

Frameworks
Insurance Works
Reactive and Planned Maintenance
Refurbishment/Modernisation/Extensions
One-off Private Builds

Due to the specialist nature of the works and the sensitive nature of client liaison required we have recognised the need to, in the main, employ our own direct delivery trades from tried and tested backgrounds – promoting the correct and proper image of Compass Building and Construction Services Ltd, our clients and indeed our wider industry.

We will however on occasions share resource between departments such that we can maintain a generally consistent workforce and demand smooth the peaks and troughs that are historically prevalent in the building industry.

In our mainstream construction business we employ most building trades including bricklayers, joiners, plasterers, tilers, roughcasters, ground workers and general operatives augmented by the provision of plumbing, heating, electrical and renewable technologies via our sister company, Orbis Services Ltd.
