Located just 8 miles from the banks of Loch Ness, the estate of Dundreggan has embarked on a process of rewilding since 2008.
The Compass commission saw the construction of a modern rewilding centre heavily accented on sustainable and renewable technologies. Housed within this building is a café, classrooms, interpretation area, store rooms and ablutions. Attached to the centre is a pond, external activity area and play park.
Located a short distance away is “An Spiris” which provides a convenient base for those keen to spend longer in Glenmoriston. Accommodation provided extends to 20 double/twin bedrooms, a boot room for drying outdoor gear and a comfortable communal space to meet with fellow residents.
Both buildings tie into the extensive network of paths and tracks that wind their way around the estate.
