Managing Director, Thom Macleod, remarked that not only did this serve to illustrate our truly pan-Highland credentials but also underlined the significant contribution that Compass had made to supporting affordable housing provision within the Highland area.
The latest phase at Evanton has been constructed to an exceptionally high standard in line with the Highland Councils specific performance criteria, as detailed in their Firm Foundations project brief.
The house types, which were designed by Project Architect Bracewell, are both ergonomic and energy efficient, providing an excellent environment for individuals, families and the community to thrive.
The previous phase of works included mid-market rent opportunities whilst this latest phase saw the inclusion of serviced plots, which were subsequently built out by Compass as part of their niche private offering, thereby providing a range of tenure options to the local population.
As an integral part of the development there were numerous community benefits delivered over both phases which in-exhaustively saw support provided to the local primary school, enabling works delivered at the village hall and the provision of a defibrillator for the local community.
