The 13th annual Compass Golf Day took place at the Muir of Ord Golf Club on Friday 18th September 2026, with a record attendance of over 50 players. Compass staff were joined by clients, design teams, sub-contractors and suppliers to compete in a Texas Scramble format for the Compass Golf Invitational Team Trophy.
As the teams made their way out onto the course, the earlier starters had to endure some pretty wet weather to begin with. However, once the rain did clear up, the majority of the field were treated to more favourable conditions, making for some good scoring on the day.
The winners this year, with a nett score of 50.8, taking the title by only a 0.2 margin, were:-

Shabaz Ali – Compass
Graham McIntosh – Compass
Our thanks to the Manager and shop staff at the Muir of Ord Golf Club who assisted in the lead-up to the event and on the day, as well as the greenkeepers for keeping the course in such great condition. Lastly, a big thank you to Miguel and his team at Albatross Catering for keeping us all fed and watered throughout.
A total of nearly £1,000 was raised for the Abernethy Trust through raffles and general donations. This was matched by Compass, bringing the total amount donated to £2,000.
