The ceremony provided an opportunity to recognise the collective efforts behind the restoration works and celebrate the contributions of all those involved in the project, including The Highland Council, Dingwall Community Development Company (DCDC), Dingwall Community Council, Compass Building and Construction Services Ltd, and other project partners.

Compass Building carried out the significant structural refurbishment works, including re-decking the roof, restoration and refurbishment of the masonry, and steelwork repairs to support the internal floors.  These works helped restore the memorial to a standard suitable for public access and long-term preservation.  The opening represented an important milestone for the local community, ensuring the memorial can once again be enjoyed by residents and visitors while preserving this important historic landmark for future generations.

The company was delighted to see the project successfully completed and officially reopened to the public, reflecting the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in bringing the memorial tower back into community use.
