The latest in a long line of successful project deliveries for Whyte and Mackay was realised when the keys for 2 No. New Warehouses (5 No. Cells) were handed over in Spring 2025.
Compass Building were selected as the best value delivery partner for this project having previously delivered significant new build and modernisation works for the client.
This latest project was particularly pleasing to be involved with as it heralded the beginning of a significant new site of maturation facilities planned for an area to the north of Invergordon.
A significant portion of the project was associated with the initiation of the infrastructure required for the site wide development including site access, security, servicing, drainage and groundworks enabling.
A key part of the execution of the works was ensuring compliance with statutory and client led environmental requirements. This was achieved through the development of and adherence to an agreed Construction Environmental Management Plan which addressed all of the points that had been raised throughout the consenting and tendering process.
Not only was this project handed over timeously, but we are pleased to report that we presently have a further 3 warehouses (9 cells) under construction.
This level of repeat business coupled with our familiarity with the client’s requirements has seen us further refine the design of the units to provide the most efficient and predictable build programme.
