A once unkempt corner of Dalneigh has been transformed into a vibrant community garden thanks to the dedication of local resident Mike Dela Cruz and the support of local businesses, including Compass Building and Construction Services.
Compass contributed pallets and surplus materials from its nearby St Valery development, helping create benches and features that have become an integral part of the completed garden. The project, known as Dal-Widd, has turned an overgrown pathway into a welcoming community space filled with flowers, trees and seating areas for local residents to enjoy.

The garden was the vision of retired carer Mike Dela Cruz, who spent months clearing and improving the area with support from neighbours, volunteers and local organisations. The finished project has been widely praised for enhancing the local environment and creating a positive space for the community.
Compass is proud to have played a small part in supporting a project that demonstrates the power of community spirit and collaboration in creating lasting local benefits.
