Working in partnership with Fort Augustus and Glenmoriston Community Company (FAGCC), Compass will refurbish and convert the long vacant canal side property into two self-contained maisonettes for long term affordable rent. The project will bring new life to a prominent local building whilst addressing the growing demand for quality housing in the area.

Situated in the heart of Fort Augustus, Glentarff House has been identified as a key regeneration opportunity by FAGCC as part of its ongoing commitment to community led development and sustainable local growth.

Paul Cowie, Operations Director at Compass, said “We are delighted to begin work on Glentarff House and to support a project that will deliver quality affordable housing for the local community. This is our third significant project for FAGCC and our team very much looks forward to working closely, once again, with the Community Company as the redevelopment progresses.”

Once completed, the development will provide two high quality affordable homes, creating a lasting community asset and supporting the long term sustainability of Fort Augustus and Glenmoriston.
